About the money.
How much does a POS system cost in South Africa?
POS pricing in South Africa varies widely, and many providers also take a percentage of every transaction. Resty and Retaily are R1,000 per till per month for one or two tills, with every feature included. With three or more tills we quote one monthly price for the whole business. Either way: no per-feature upsells, no contracts and no cut of your sales.
Why are three or more tills quoted?
Bigger setups vary a lot: how many tills, how many shops or sites, and how you trade. So instead of stacking per-till fees, we look at your business and quote one monthly price for all of it.
How do I get a quote?

How is CannyPos priced?
CannyPos, our cannabis POS, is quoted per month by number of tills (and branches for multi-store). Setup, staff training, updates and support are included, with no per-cashier fee and no contract. See CannyPos pricing.
Is there a contract?
No. SaleSwift is month to month, and you can cancel whenever you like.
Do you take a percentage of my sales?
No. On Resty and Retaily you pay your monthly price and that’s it. There are no transaction fees.
Is SaleSwift a card machine?
No. SaleSwift makes POS software. Resty and Retaily work alongside the card machine or payment provider you already use, and CannyPos integrates with a card machine for tap payments.
Do I need to buy hardware?
Not for Resty or Retaily: they run on the phones, tablets, laptops and PCs you already own, across iOS, Android, Windows and Mac.
